Letter to Numerals |
*I (author) has developed the system below (abcto123 system) for coding in one of the projects long time back. Vowels and letters h and y are ignored. For Tamil-grantha characters அ, ஆ, இ, ஈ, உ, ஊ, எ, ஏ, ஐ, ஒ, ஓ, ஔ, ஃ are ignored.

Telephone pad systems is known to everyone.
Pythagorean numerology is the easiest, the best known, and the most widely used by modern numerologists. Pythagorean system simply assigns the numbers in sequence so A=1, B=2, C=3. Similarly there is oriental coding, also called vedic coding.
Kaṭapayādi notation an ancient Indian alphasyllabic numeral system Assigning more than one letter to one numeral and nullifying certain other letters as valueless. The Ka-ṭa-pa-yā-di system is not confined to India. Some Pali chronograms based on the Ka-ṭa-pa-yā-di system have been discovered in Burma.
The mnemonic major system (phonetic number system or Hérigone's mnemonic system) is a mnemonic technique used to help in memorizing numbers. The system works by converting numbers into consonants, then into words by adding vowels. Each numeral is associated with one or more consonants, based on sound. Vowels, semivowels and the consonant /h/ are ignored. These can be used as "fillers" to make sensible words from the resulting consonant sequences.
Every soundex code consists of a letter and three numbers, such as W-252. The letter is always the first letter of the surname. The numbers are assigned to the remaining letters of the surname according to the soundex guide shown. Zeroes are added at the end if necessary to produce a four-character code. Additional letters are disregarded. Washington is coded W-252 (W, 2 for the S, 5 for the N, 2 for the G, remaining letters disregarded). Lee is coded L-000 (L, 000 added).
