Indicators Database

APEC Secretariat provides links to Indicators Database to facilitate detailed analysis of trade, financial and socio-economic trends in the Asia-Pacific region. Access to this database is free-of-charge and the data can be exported to Microsoft Excel. The database includes over 120 economic, social and environmental indicators for APEC’s 21 member economies dating back to APEC’s inception in 1989. Science and Education Database

R&D statistics for major APEC countries are now available in the UIS Data Centre, including data and indicators for 156 countries and territories. Key indicators include the human and financial resources devoted to R&D. This update is based on new statistics collected from UIS partners, notably the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Eurostat (Statistical Office of the European Union), the Ibero-American Network of Science and Technology Indicators (RICYT) and the African Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators (ASTII) Initiative by the AU/NPCA.
