Mr Yasumasa Takuma, Deputy Managing Director of the Singapore Office of the Centre of the International Cooperation for Computerisation (CICC), took part in UBD Science and Technology Week held at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).
Dr Jimmy Lim Chee Ming, Head of the Physics Department, Faculty of Science, UBD, organized this training program with CICC. He said: "UBD-CICC cooperation dates back to March 2003 when UBD was invited by the CICC Japan to participate in the inception of the Asian Open Source Software Symposium (AOSS) in Phuket, Thailand. The AOSS was initiated and sponsored by CICC."
Dr Jimmy Lim Chee Ming has attended CICC AOSS training program.
