Proxy client applications can any type of program and most probable are web browser such Internet Explorer (in Windows OS) or Mozilla FireFox and so on. In this lesson, we will cover the configuration for Mozilla FireFox Web Browser.

1. Run Mozilla Firefox

2. Click File Menu Tools and then Options

3. Click on General icon on the left panel, and on the right panel click on button Connection Setting. A connection setting page will be shown as below

4.Click on manual proxy configuration, and check on use the same proxy for all protocols if all other protocols also must go to the same proxy server.

5. Key in the proxy server IP address (for example 192.168.0.10 or adjust accordingly to your proxy server IP address) in the HTTP proxy text box and fill in the port number, which in our case is 3128 (we use default port number setting in previous configuration section)
