Human resources

As per OECD report, number of researchers for 2006 is 1,425,550 FTE, approximately 30% of total number of researchers in APEC. As per NSF report, the size of the science and engineering workforce was 22.63 million in 2006. The key R&D manpower values based on UNESCO and OECD publications are given below:
