This project, DataBase on R&D Internationalization in the Industrial sector among APEC member Economies, was endorsed at the 17th APEC/IST-WG meeting in August 99. Japan was the sponsoring economy for this study. Other three co-sponsoring economies are Korea, Russia and Thailand. This project is supported by Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI), Japan.

A database for R&D Internationalization among APEC economies was developed and has been existence from 2000 to 2010. Project ended in 2010 and last updated on 1 June 2010
