R&D Expenditure Statistics

As per OECD data, GERD for 2007 was 102 billion PPP USD. Industry, higher education and government sectors spent 72.3%, 8.5% and 19.2% of GERD respectively. R&D density was 1.49 for 2007. Key data from National R&D survey and OECD is presented below:
